Lactation Learning

IBCLC exam preparation courses

The mindful planting of an idea and a gentle nudge during a conversation back in 2019 inspired the start of Lactation Learning, a facilitator-led online lactation education course. That small seed of opportunity was carefully nurtured, and led to the growth of a comprehensive programme to support health professionals and those caring for new mums, parents and babies to develop specialist lactation skills and provide effective breastfeeding care.

The Lactation Learning programme is ideally suited to practitioners working with expectant and new parents and who wish to increase their knowledge and skills in breastfeeding without travelling to an education centre. The online course delivers a comprehensive education in human lactation through facilitator-led presentations, focused group discussions and homework tasks, and participants are supported to develop enhanced evidence based skills relevant to local practice.
